When I knew that I would be traveling in Southern Asia, I really didn’t know what to expect. I really had know clue what I was getting myself into. I really had no choice. But now, I’m amazed with it. It definitely is chaotic, but you embrace it. The chaos beckons, as you could say. In Bhutan, ceremonies with clowns and dancers and musicians blasting music through giant speakers, more or less, on a cliff. In Thailand, that means walking around the really busy part of town, then quickly settling down at a somber temple. Iv’e just started to list my favorite moments from all these different places, so I’m just going to continue. In Cambodia, that means celebrating Christmas with my family for the first time ever. In Laos, that means going on an insane bike ride, with a bike that was way too small for me, and almost getting hit my multiple cars. But hey, It was fun! In Sri Lanka (Mind you, I still have a week or two left, this could change) was celebrating my birthday at the beach. I am almost at the halfway point of my trip, and still have 3 months left to go. It all went by so fast!!!
